Samsung Galaxy S5 release date not confirmed, but 64-bit CPU confirmed

The present iteration is still doing great business nonetheless rumors about new iterations have started doing the rounds. Samsung Galaxy S5 release date is still not confirmed, but 64-bit CPU confirmed
In reply to Apple, Samsung will begin using 64-bit CPUs inside its next line of smartphones. The company CEO JK Shin has hinted that it would design its “next smartphones” with processors that feature 64-bit architecture for better power, and to face off Apple’s brand new A7 chip-based CPUs.

The statement simply refers to the chance that Samsung’s 2014 flagships including Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 would mount 64-bit processors. It further points out to the possibility for the projected Android 4.4 KitKat to have 64-bit processor support.
Also, it reveals that the next-gen flagships from Samsung will feature 4GB of RAM. Only a device with 4GB or higher RAM will better support 64-bit processor. Apple’s next iPhone 5S may not have this much of RAM and so the A7 chip won’t add that much power to it. But, in future, Apple may likely adopt the new chipset for its PCs as well, replacing Intel chips.
Anyways, it is awesome to hear that Samsung plans to add the next level of chipsets inside its future generations of handsets. Of course, it means that the Korean tech giant would be aiming to upgrade its Exynos mobile chipset to bring in support for 64-bit. Or, Qualcomm may also upgrade its Snapdragon chipset with the desktop-standard CPU support by then.
The two possible Samsung devices to get the highly powerful chipsets are the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5. The successors to the brand new Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 may also feature a lot of other advanced stuffs to meet the requirements of the then tech world, and customers.
