Speaking at the launch, Ravinder Chauhan, Regional Manager (North), TVS Motor Company said, "Electric or kick start fires up TVS Jupiter's 110 powertrain while the engine delivers best-in-class fuel economy when the rider is in 'Eco' mode. This helps the rider to manage and achieve highest possible fuel efficiency from TVS Jupiter". The scooter's fuel tank, which has a capacity of 5 litres can be filled via an external fuel fill only offered on TVS scooters, for hassle free quick refuelling and protecting contents of the underseat storage area from petrol fumes. TVS Jupiter has the largest leg space and comes with retractable front and under-seat bag hooks, which further improve space management. TVS Jupiter also has 17 litres of spacious under seat storage facility that can accommodate a full face helmet. An under-seat mobile charger provision allows charging on the go.
Ravinder Chauhan claimed that with the launch of TVS Jupiter, TVS Motor Company becomes the only company to have the widest range of scooters in India, including TVS Wego, the iconic TVS Scooty Pep+ and the snazzy TVS Scooty Streak. A clever combination of a powerful engine, styling finesse, high comfort levels and best-in-class mileage, makes this scooter a complete value for money product. TVS Jupiter comes in titanium grey, mercury white, midnight black and volcano red colours.
